Has it really been that long since my last journal entry? I hope to start work on a game soon. It is a little different to my others. I've done a lot of experimenting in past games, and I'll be recalling those experiences when it comes to this new project. I hope to give a broader range of customization in terms of players. So far there the character roster is at 42, to give an idea. It will not be the super free world of Ecco, as it takes me years to create even a single level due to the mind-boggling amount of tiles, coding and objects that it takes. So we'll see how that goes.

I really feel like I should be doing more digital art, so I'll be doing some more detailed dolphins and stuff. My plans are to create some reference guides for species like Hourglass, which have literally no reference guides of any pose other than the side on the internet. These poses will be created from some serious scrounging for photos or estimation based on the angle of body etc. (which will be accurate, yes). I will also start doing other sprite sets.

I've already posted this in the group but since only 2 users are there (both are now inactive) I'll bring it here. So yes, I'm actually working on Divine Era again. Of all my games its recieved little attention honestly since I never really found a fluent way of doing anything and I lost interest too quickly. Hopefully now with my better code knowledge this won't happen (and honestly the older version's code was a mess...I'm glad to redo it). Keep an eye for progress and sprites, I'll post some every now and then.
